Mission Statement
The mission of the Florida Education Legislative Liaisons is to support and assist school boards and superintendents in shaping and improving education in Florida by impacting legislation and providing proactive leadership and training through a network of services and information.
Florida Education Legislative​ Liaisons
In 1994, a small group of school district staff who were responsible for government relations activities created the Florida Education Legislative Liaisons (FELL). These individuals recognized that the political landscape in Tallahassee and in Washington DC was changing and that public education increasingly was impacted by policy changes at the state and federal levels. FELL is now well-known in the halls of the Capitol and for 27 years has ensured that the voices of their school districts are heard.
